Thunder Labradors is owned and operated by Richard and Mirella Spike. Producing quality Labradors since 1994, the kennel is located on a farm in south central Wisconsin about 25 miles south of Madison. Just an hour from Milwaukee and 2 hours from Chicago, we are only 5 minutes off Interstate 90 at Exit 160.
The raising of our Labs is a dedicated process. They come from the finest field trial and hunt test lines available. They are carefully selected to produce quality pups that are trainable. Jordan and Lanae, Richard's children, help with the socialization process. If you want a Lab for the house or the duck blind, check out our dogs and compare to others. Our socialization program includes introduction to birds, crate and kennel conditioning. Pups are introduced to water if possible. (seasonal)
All breeding dogs have eyes and hips screened for genetic disorders. Thunder pups are sold with a 26 month eye and hip guarantee. Pups have dewclaws removed, are wormed and have their first shots. A Thunder Labrador can be purchased with confidence because all the necessary precautions have been taken to be sure that you will be getting a physically sound, intelligent pup.
